Access Control
Access control systems are a secure and cost effective way of controlling who has access to specific to a building or particular areas of a building and when that access is allowed, with access only via a entry card or key fob.
Once an access system is installed, all doors controlled by the system will automatically lock when the door is closed. Anyone without an access card or key fob will ne unable to enter. If necessary, doors can be set to unlock during a particular time frame.
There are different systems we can offer, depending on what you require:
Networked access control
Networked access control offers centralised control of the building from a computer. Meaning that commands are given via the computer to each of the door controls instantly, such as opening all doors or particular doors and complete lockdown.
Another benefit of this system is the system is flexible, allowing different permissions for individuals or groups of users. This type of system is good for sites managing multiple doors and users and this system can be extended easily. This type of system is ideal for schools, offices and healthcare facilities.
Standalone access control
Standalone access control may be used to control access to one or many independent doors throughout a building. Access can be gained using a pin number or key fob and there is no need for a computer or network. Unlike a networked system, a standalone system is programmed at each door. If key fobs need to be deleted or changed in any way, this has to be done at each door on the system. This type of system is ideal for small business premises, storage units or sites with limited users.
